Providing equal access to justice
Providing equal access to justice
As a legal non-profit organization, we aspire to use our advocacy skills to provide services to modest-means litigants who otherwise could not afford legal services. We exist to fill the gap and challenge the systems of privilege through the lifelong learning and application process of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We are continually building a more inclusive culture, where everyone plays a role in advancing DEI and has the opportunity to represent themselves and our clients.
When DEI is present in the practice of law, the whole person is authentically seen. That allows for judicial proceedings to be comprised of compassion and understanding, reflecting the highest ideals society seeks of our justice system.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are the basis of forming “a more perfect Union.” (United States Constitution).
At All for the Family Legal Clinic, Inc., we are committed to practicing and implementing the following:
§ Ongoing education and training related to DEI.
§ Updating our volunteer training to include a DEI component.
All for the Family Legal Clinic, Inc. is committed to developing and sustaining a culture of learning, growth, and understanding around DEI matters.
Please visit the State Bar's Website for information on California's dedication DEI in the legal profession.
